BABY PUPPY DOG (3, 2A)

1. TIBLHA YUKARI IS KING

White dog who has lots of substance, already well grown. Pleasing eye colour, head of good proportions, ears a little on the large side. Strong bone and well-padded feet. Well-developed body, firm topline and tail well set and carried. Moved well once settled.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (2, 0A)

1. LACSAR SPRITE TALKER (IKC)

Black and tan male of excellent colour. Excellent eye shape and position, definite stop, pleasing ears, well set and carried, well developed cheeks. Strong neck, excellent front, elbows set close to the body. Firm topline, moderate tuck up. Strong second thigh. Moves out very well in all directions. BPD.

2. TRIXWOOD ATSUSHI AKIRUNO

A much stronger and heavier type of dog all through, typical in head shape, dark eyes, obliquely set, ears a little on the large side. Could be cleaner through the neck and front. Quite heavy in body, chest has good depth, holds a firm level topline. Moved soundly in all directions, just not the positive action of 1.

PUPPY DOG (3, 0A)

1. VORMUND POWER OF TEN

Black and tan male of excellent colour, who has lots of appeal. Excellent head proportions, dark eyes of correct shape, obliquely set. Ears well set and carried; they could perhaps be an little, smaller. Neck of good length, excellent front, bone and feet. Firm in topline, tail well set and carried. Moves out to advantage in all directions holding his outline.

2. MARILOUVALE SKY'S THE LIMIT

Ultra compact dog of pleasing colour. Head of correct shape, pleasing eye colour. Could be better in front and this showed on the move. Correct for bone and with good feet. Firm body, in excellent condition. Tail well set and carried, moved soundly fore and aft.

JUNIOR DOG (3, 0A)

1. VORMUND KEN KANEKII

An exciting young dog who has immediate impact. Excels in head and expression, dark eyes obliquely set, flat skull, small ears well set and carried. Neck of medium length, excellent forehand, just right for bone and has compact feet. Body of good depth, ribs moderately sprung. Firm topline, tail set on high and well carried. Muscular rear he used to advantage on the move with a light, energetic gait. Pushed his kennel mate all the way, a certain ch. RCC

YEARLING DOG (3, 1A)

1. LIN MOMOKA GO HI NO ARASHI AT MARILOUVALE

Red dog with an excellent head for proportions, dark eyes, correct in shape, well developed cheeks. Has a pleasing front, good bone, could be firmer in feet and pasterns. Quite compact body, high set tail well set and carried. Moves out freely and positively in profile, could be firmer out and back.

2. AMIVIKE'S SCOOBY DOO

More immature than 1 and still needing time to develop in head. Pleasing eye colour and good ears, correctly set. Pleasing front, good bone and correct feet. Well-developed body, carrying too much weight., firm in topline. Moved ok in all directions. Not in his best jacket here. Elbows set close to body, correct in bone.

POST GRADUATE DOG (5, 2A)

1. CHADBROOK KASHIKOI

Red dog who is well balanced all through. Wedge shaped head would prefer better eye set but they are good colour. Enough neck, excellent topline and tail set. Body has good depth, firm and well ribbed. Of pleasing colour and shown in dense double coat well presented. Made the most of himself moving.

2. JARSHIMAR BAZ’S BEAR

Black and tan dog, who wasn’t in his best coat on the day. Typical in head and eye shape, pleasing eye colour. Has enough bone, excellent topline and tailset. Moderate rear angulation, hocks well let down. Shown in muscular condition, moved positively fore and aft, a little restricted in profile.

3. AMIVIKE'S SCOOBY DOO

LIMIT DOG (8, 1A)

1. VORMUND HEAVY IS THE CROWN

More extreme in type but with much to admire. Really appeals in head and eye, dark obliquely set eyes, dark in colour, small ears well set and carried, well developed cheeks. Excellent front, bone and feet. Firm in topline, deep chest, short in loin. Well-muscled quarters, moderate bend of stifle. Presents an excellent outline standing and holds his outline moving. Clear red colour and excellent coat.

2. TAPENA NO RYUU TOMODACHI AT TRIXWOOD SHCEX

Excellent outline and impressive moving in profile. Small dark eyes well set, not quite as typical in head as 1. Shoulders well positioned, straight well boned legs and stands on firm catlike feet. Body has good depth, slightly longer in loin, firm topline and tailset. Well-muscled thighs, moderate turn of stifle.

1. LACSAR TIC TAC TAYTO (IKC)

Dark red dog who had the edge in maturity and development here. Excellent head shape, pleasing stop, well-padded cheeks and obliquely set eyes. H front, with shoulders well placed, excellent bone and feet. Firm in body, ribbed well back. Excellent topline and tailset. Shown in full dense coat, immaculately presented. Excels on the move with a light-footed easy gait.

2. VORMUND TOM SAWYER

Eye-catching young dog, excellent head well proportioned, enough stop, small dark eyes. Neck of medium length, pleasing front, bone and feet. Elbows set close to body, still needing to develop a little through the middle, moderate tuck up. Firm level topline, tail set on high. Harsh, dense jacket of good colour, well presented. On the move he is very accurate in all directions.

1. MARILOUVALE FOOL ME ONCE

White dog of medium size and good balance. Appealing head, small almond shaped eyes of good colour, moderate stop, ears a little on the large side. Pleases in front, shoulders moderate and well positioned, pleases for bone and has neat catlike feet. Well-conditioned body, firm in compact loin. High set tail. Moved with a good stride and a free action. Dense double coat with white undercoat.

SPECIAL OPEN BLACK & TAN DOG (3, 0A)

1. AKAI HANA A’HIKERU BLACK TEKEHIRO NO LACSAR

B & T male belying his age, of good colour and with correct markings. Pleases in head of correct shape, correct stop, small well-placed ears, dark and correctly set eyes. Compact in body, firm in condition and muscle tone, level topline, high set loose tail. Balanced in his angulation and moving out to advantage in all directions with a free and easy effortless stride. BVD & BVIS.

2. MARILOUVALE BLACK RAVEN

Another B & T male who is a good colour and who is correctly marked. Broad flat skull, small dark brown eyes, cheeks well developed, has definite stop. Neck of medium length, shoulders well positioned and elbows set close to body. Pleases in body proportions, moderate tuck up, firm topline, tail high set. Just not quite so light footed as one.

1. MARILOUVALE EDDIE MURPHY JW

Deep in colour. His head is correctly proportioned, small dark eyes, small ears, moderate stop. Neck of medium length, H shaped front, correct bone and firm catlike feet. Firm in topline, moderate tuck up, firm topline, moderate rear which is well muscled. Moved with a light and easy stride, ably handled to get the best out of him. In dense double coat, well presented.

2. CHADBROOK INSPIRE ME

Ultra compact dog, balanced in his angulation but needing to settle on the move particularly in front. Stands on correctly boned legs and excellent catlike feet. Has good ribbing and a short loin. Shown in excellent condition and coat of pleasing texture.

CHAMPION DOG (3, 0A)

1. CH. VORMUND XMAS BONUS

Has immediate impact for his correct outline. He has a classic head with small well-set ears, obliquely placed small dark eyes and well-developed cheeks. A picture of balance his excellent front assembly, strong arched neck of medium length, firm level topline with withers high-set. Moderate tuck up, firm level topline and high set tail. HIs well-muscled rear is used to advantage on the move. Straight and true coming and going but when he moves in profile, he is at his best with a light, effortless gait. Shows to advantage aided by his skilled handler. Presented in optimum condition, CC & BIS.

2. CH. PHIXONS STRAUMANN SHCEX

One I have judged before, pleasing balance and of medium size. Typical in head, ears could perhaps be a little smaller. Has neck of medium length, moderate front angulation, I would prefer better feet. Deep in chest, firm in topline and has well-muscled quarters. Coat of good colour and texture moved straight and true but could have a little more freedom in profile.

VETERAN DOG (2, 1A)

1. CH. KEN GO SHUN'YOU KENSHA

Well-constructed dog presented in excellent coat and condition. Balanced outline with neck of moderate length. Compact body, moderate ribbing, firm loin and tail set on high. Pleases in head with flat skull of breadth, small eyes of good colour, neat ears. Moderately angulated front and rear and he presents a good outline standing. Not quite the action of the B & T dog in the challenge for BV.

1. MARILOUVALE HAD IT COMING

A month older and had that little bit more advanced. Pleasing head and small dark eyes, medium sized ears. Medium length of neck, correct in front and with good bone and catlike feet. Compact body, moderate tuck up, co-ordinated on the move with a good action.

2. VORMUND KUROTORI NO HANA

Well-marked 4-month-old B & T with correct markings. Correct head, small dark eyes and small triangular ears. H shaped front, good bone and feet. Firm in topline, slightly longer cast body. High set tail. Moves positively for one so young.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (3, 1A)

1. VORMUND SAIGO NO UTA

Well-marked B & T bitch of pleasing size and balance liked her wedge-shaped head and dark eyes. Compact body. Neck of medium length, H shaped front, sloping shoulders. Straight forelegs and excellent feet. Body has good depth, moderate ribbing and a short loin. High set tail. Moves with excellent profile gait and carriage. Coat just starting to dull before a moult.

2. LACSAR IT TAKES TWO (IKC)

Not the compactness of 1 or quite so appealing in head qualities. Neck of medium length, firm level topline, high set tail. Stands on correctly boned legs and excellent catlike feet. Well-conditioned all through in terms of body and coat. Uses her rear well on the move but needs to firm in front action.

PUPPY BITCH (4, 1A)

1. LACSAR DON’T NUTELLA SOUL (IKC)

Red sesame who is of ideal proportions. Pleasing head, small dark eyes, thick small ears and a wedge-shaped head with moderate stop. Neck of medium length, H shaped front, good bone and excellent catlike feet. Body already has good depth and her elbows set close to her body. Firm topline, high set tail. Well-muscled thighs, correct moderately bent stifles. Really excels on the move with an easy and positive light-footed gait, covering the ground easily. BP & RCC

2. VORMUND SOMETHIN ELSE AT TEIGAN

Another I liked very much, and it was a shame they were in the same class. Clear red colour and of pleasing balance. Wedge shaped head, moderate stop, small dark eyes. Her neck is of medium length, H shaped front, shoulders sloping to straight legs and catlike feet. Slightly longer cast body, medium ribbing, firm loin. Well-muscled thighs which she used to advantage. Moved out very well in profile. Dense double coat well presented.

3. CHADBROOK SUKI SU

JUNIOR BITCH (5, 1A)

1. VORMUND CROWN ROYAL

Red bitch who had the edge here for size and her head qualities, wedge shaped with a moderate stop, small dark eyes, small thick ears. Neck of correct length, H shaped front and with ideal bone and good feet. Her elbows are set close to her body, compact loin, well-muscled. Moderate rear angulation. Appeals in outline both standing and moving and goes with a correct profile action.

2. LACSAR ALL ON MY TOBLERONE (IKC)

Red bitch who also pleases in outline, just a little longer in loin. Her head is correctly balanced, small dark eyes but they could be better set. Could have better ears. Neck of good length, correct bone and good feet. Well grown and moves out positively in all directions.

YEARLING BITCH (2, 1A)

1. NATSUMIHIME GO RYUKYU URUMA AT TRIXWOOD (IMP JPN)

Well marked black and tan with correct markings. Pleasing head and expression, obliquely set eyes, small ears and well developed cheeks. Neck is of good length, would prefer better pasterns and feet. Firm body, well conditioned, high set tail. Needs to firm in movement in all directions.

POST GRADUATE BITCH (5, 3A)

1. DUNDALKS SPUDALICIOUS AT AMIVIKE

Pleasing wedge-shaped head on this red bitch, dark eyes, quite small ears, skull is broad. Pleasing front, bone and excellent catlike feet. Body has good depth and ribbing, but she is carrying far too much weight. High set tail, well-muscled thighs and moving with a good action.

2. MARILOUVALE ANNABELLE

Black and tan bitch who pleases for her size and overall balance. I found her head typical, small dark eyes and ears of good size but could be more developed in cheeks. Pleasing front and bone. Longer through the body and not quite so well-muscled as one. Moved steadily in all directions.

LIMIT BITCH (4, 1A)

1. BEARPARK FEMME FATALE

Of good overall balance. Head of correct shape proportionate to body, small in eyes and they are a good colour. Ears could be smaller and thicker. Neck of medium length, H shaped front, sloping shoulders. Stands on excellent feet. Really firm well-muscled body and correct weight. High set tail. A positive active mover shown in dense double coat.

2. AMIVIKE'S COS I AM SPECIAL TOO

Liked the head type of this one – well developed cheeks, small dark eyes and with small ears thick and correctly set. Could be better positioned in front, firm topline and high set tail. Moved positively but could have a little more reach in front. Dense double coat of bright colour well presented.

3. PEARLBEFREE ALL THAT SAS

OPEN BITCH (4, 1A)

1. CH. TAPENA YAMAMOTO NADESSHIKO

Of good type and who projects a good outline. I liked her wedge-shaped head, moderate stop and obliquely set eyes. H shaped front, sloping shoulders and with good bone, needs better feet. Excellent body, short well-muscled loin. High set tail well set and carried. Moves very well in profile, shown in excellent double coat of pleasing colour.

2. IR CH. LACSAR THE REAL THING (IKC)

B & T bitch who was of good colour and who is correctly marked. Nice head, small dark eyes well set, broad skull, medium sized ears. Neck has good length, could be firmer in pasterns. Well ribbed body, level topline, would look better with less weight. Dense, double coat well presented. Moved with a good profile action.

1. BAMBOLA LA LEGGENDA DEI SAMURAI AT MARILOUVALE

Feminine white bitch who won this class with a bit to spare. Wedge shaped head, flat skull, obliquely set eyes of good colour, small thick ears. Stands on well boned legs and catlike feet. Liked her body proportions, firm topline, high set tail well carried. Moderate rear angulation, well-muscled thighs, moves very positively in all directions. In full double coat, dense and with white undercoat.

2. AMIVIKE'S I AM RAVEN

8-and-a-half-year-old bitch who is well proportioned. Shown her carrying too much weight which had an effect on her front action on the move. Pleasing in head properties, full cheeks. Neck of medium length, body has good depth. Correct tail set and carriage. Moved with enthusaism.

SPECIAL OPEN BLACK & TAN BITCH (5, 2A)

1. MARILOUVALE BLANK CHEQUE

Black and tan bitch who appeals in head and expression, obliquely set dark eyes, small ears and well-padded cheeks. Excellent H front, correct bone and catlike feet. Body has good depth, quite compact loin, a little soft in topline at times. Well-muscled thighs which she used well on the move, especially in profile. Correctly marked and of good colour, moved freely in all directions.

2. AMIVIKE'S DEZIGNED FOR JARSHIMAR

Feminine black and tan bitch who is well marked. Of medium size and well balanced, would benefit from a little more bone and firmer pasterns. Quite compact body, ok tail. Firm in body, well-muscled rear with slight bend of stifle. Moved out positively in profile.

1. CH. VORMUND JAVA HOME BREW

This bitch has an excellent profile and draws you in when stacked up, she has excellent colour and markings. Really typical head and expression, small dark eyes obliquely set, well developed cheeks. Neck of correct length. Shoulders sloping and well positioned, good bone and catlike feet. Firm, level topline, high set tail. Well-muscled thighs. Moves out with an excellent profile action, could be a little firmer in rear.

2. MARILOUVALE BREAK THE BANK

Of pleasing colour and markings. Has good balance, like her wedge-shaped head, dark eyes and small thick ears. Neck has good length, shoulders could be more sloping, tends to knuckle over standing. Body has depth and moderate ribbing. High set tail, not quite in full coat here.

3. AMIVIKE'S SUPER MINX SHCM

SPECIAL OPEN RED BITCH (3, 2A)

1. CH. AFTERGLOW FLAMENCO

Red bitch of pleasing bright colour. Impresses on the move with a good profile action. Neck of good length, moderate bone and catlike feet. Body quite deep, firm topline and high set tail. Shown in dense double coat of pleasing texture and well conditioned throughout.

CHAMPION BITCH (3, 2A)

1. CH. VORMUND COACHELLA

Sired by the BIS winner and she is a feminine version of him. Classic in head with neat well-set ears, dark almond shaped eyes obliquely placed and with well-developed cheeks. Standing she is so well balanced. Excellent front, slightly arched neck of medium length, level topline and high set tail. Well-muscled rear which she's used to best advantage on the move. So good moving in profile action and really accurate fore and aft. Clear in colour and shown in dense coat of correct texture. CC

VETERAN BITCH (9, 6A)

1. MARILOUVALES QUEEN ELSA VW

Almost 12 and shown in excellent condition. Pleasing for balance with a typical headpiece, correct eye and expression, small well set and carried ears. Retaining her firm body and condition, excellent topline and high set tail. Moved out steadily in all directions. BVB

2. PEARLBEFREE OSO JAZZY

Just 7 but showing her age a little more than 1. Head of correct proportions, dark eyes, ears a little large. Sound and positive mover in all directions. Body has correct proportions, medium boned and with good feet. excellent muscle tone but carrying too much weight and rather spoilt her outline.

SPECIAL BEGINNERS BITCH (3, 2A)

1. TINAKA DU BOIS DE CONPEIGNE AT MARILOUVALE (IMP FRA)

Well-conditioned and handled to best advantage by her young handler, moving in unison together. Of medium size and pleasing balance. Compact body, I would prefer a little more bone, but she does have catlike feet. Firm level topline, ok tail set.

Firstly, thank you to the committee for the kind invitation to spend some time with such a beautiful breed, and a big thank you to the exhibitors for their excellent sportsmanship and support, I had a lovely day, and the gift went down very well! Thanks folks.

SPECIAL AWARD JUNIOR (9, 5A)

1. LACSAR IT TAKES TWO (IKC)

Stylish bitch. Good for basic proportion and mature for her age. Lovely quality bone, strong in pastern and neat feet. Her head is feminine with good muzzle and skull balance, and her expression is good. Ears are well set and carried correctly. Her neck is of adequate for length and is strongly muscled. Correct in wither and her topline is strong. Her rear is very well muscled, she is moderate in angle and she moves energetically. Tidy example with excellent temperament.

2. VORMUND CROWN ROYAL

Another youngster with a lot of promise. Good for size and soundly made all through. Very pretty in head and has lovely expression. Eye correct for size shape and placement. Bite and dentition is spot on and her wedge like head has strength without coarseness. She is correct in body length being slightly longer than square and she is well boned. Pushed winner hard, just not as accurate today out and back.

SPECIAL AWARD LIMIT (10, 3A)

1. VORMUND POWER OF TEN

Super quality example with type and style. Very well grown. Lovely balance to him static and he was just as nice in action. Excellent for leg length and his body is correct for depth. Withers are high and his level topline is firm and he held his shape at all times. Excellent quality bone with smashing feet and pasterns. His head is masculine with ideal balance of muzzle to skull. Bite and dentition good. Pigmentation is very good and his earset is spot on with that lovely slight incline forward. His eyes are dark and obliquely set, if I was being picky I’d Ike then slightly smaller, but his expression does not suffer. Neck is strongly muscled with a beautiful arch, and the transition from neck to withers is clean. He moved like a dream in all directions., holding his shape so well. His black and tan coat was in great nick and was of correct texture. Super engaging temperament, he is a willing showman with presence.

2. VORMUND HEAVY IS THE CROWN

Another strongly made dog and many of the same remarks apply. Red coat of lovely colour that is of correct texture. He is strongly made all through with really nice quality bone. His body proportion is good and his head is typical all through. Thought him a tidy prospect but he couldn’t match the gait of the class winner on the day.

SPECIAL AWARD OPEN (9, 5A)

1. BEARPARK CANDY

Super little red bitch of considerable type and quality. Beautifully oriental in head with excellent expression. Ideal neck length, slightly arched and nicely muscled. Withers ideally placed. Front assembly very strongly made and her bone and substance is commensurate with her size. Excellent in pastern and foot, and her footfall is great. Very good for body length and her rear matches her front. High set tail and she is pretty much all of a piece with loads to like. As with all exhibits today she is was in excellent condition and had typical temperament. Liked her.

2. TAPENA NO RYUU TOMODACHI AT TRIXWOOD SHCEX

Another nice bitch with lots to like. Consumate showgirl presented in fab nick. Of a larger size than class winner, and she is well balanced all through. Lovely quality bone and substance and her head is feminine with good expression. Lovely in ear and her muzzle is correct for length. Body is strongly made, topline is level and strong and her rear facilitates clean movement. Liked her, just preferred the head type of the class winner.
